"Wanted to say thanks for finally approving my hard ship letter. After nine months, finally through community care I got an MRI . Torn labrum and rotator cuff . Thanks for finally approving it . You all do need to tune in and listen to the patient especially if they have been involved in high impact sports their entire life . If the patient was involved in a MTB accident and had 8 fractured ribs and a broken clavicle the chance of torn ligaments , tendons, and dislocated shoulder are probable. Do not right the patient off because they are 50 . Please learn from this and tune into your patients . Thanks to all the guys and gals at patient advocate and community care for listening and helping out . This took entirely too long ."

"Va hiring unqualified surgeons and when they damage the veterans were sent to pain management. Didn’t need it before the hack surgery I was given. Asheville VA is falling to the bottom in all aspects fast. It’s amazing how pain management has become so popular. It was designed to stop the opioid problem by t now every messed up surgery that is performed goes to pain management so they can stop you from feeling the pain of a botched surgery. I tried to enroll as a pain management doctor yet there is no such title they could be an obgyn as far as we’re concerned ."

"We went over to visit a friend on Friday, November 24th. There had been covid detected in the The  Community Living Center. So, visitation was put on hold until the situation could be evaluated. It would be best to call ahead before you driving over."

"Been to many VA hospitals in the US, and none are better than this one. The staff is professional, friendly, and caring. Staffing issues are not the fault of the people who work here every day. There is a nationwide shortage of healthcare workers. I have had contact with many of the different clinics here, including major surgery. ICU, cardiology, xray, and several others, and all have provided outstanding care."
