"The next time my son comes home with blood stains all over his good scool clothes bc he cut his hand and the substitute says " deal with it " when he asks for a band-aid, were gonna have meetings. School bus driver for old balsam rd needs to also stop profiling and saying hurtful words to the kids. ( especially MINE )"

"My two nephews go to Hazelwood Elementary. They use a system called the 7 habits, based on the book" 7 Habits for Success - the children edition'. The habits are designed to teach children how to work together, consider others opinions and feelings before their own, taking care of themselves by balancing life with nutrition, rest, ect. Strong students and leaders come out of this program. All the teachers are wonderful to the children and parents. I feel that they are in a great school that honestly cares how each child progresses."

"My son has many issues mentally. He needs teachers and staff to rise to the situations and handle them professionally and unique to his needs. All the staff, even the ones who don't work with Mac directly have been amazing, patient, and so wonderful with my son. We had to move out of state, and leaving this school was almost as hard as leaving the mountains."
