"This is the best little school!!! My eldest, now in high school, spent K - 5 here and now my youngest is there as well. Neither one of them have been in a classroom yet that had more than 17 - 19 students, and coming from a mother that grew up in a fairly large city with many elementary schools, all busting at the limits, this is a HUGE plus!!!! Due to small class size and teachers with ta's, the teachers are able to get to know each individual child a lot better, notice when they struggle, and help them in their weaknesses. Dr. Teresa Robinson, the principal has been there many years and does everything she can to make sure that things run smoothly every day. She also genuinely cares about "her kids" and is willing to help out in any way possible, whether it be a concerned parent, a struggling student, or maybe a child that just doesn't have the best of situations at home. In fact, all of the staff are this way. I have witnessed teachers providing out of their own pockets, without the child knowing, for something as simple as a book from the book fair. Although the county does not have the best of funding or high tech learning materials, I wouldn't trade the comfort of this family like school for a fancy city school, for anything!!!!! Lanier is the absolute best kept secret in this county!!!!!!!"
