"I've heard that, in the past, this was an amazing school. But Cornerstone has now been way more focused at becoming bigger and making as much money as possible. Going in, you're made ALL sorts of promises as to how your child will excell and how amazing the student/teacher ratio is. When, in fact, it is worse than public schools. You also find out that a LOT of Cornerstone now consists of "problem children who have been expelled from public schools". If you put your child here, you can almost guarantee retention when you finally pull them and put them in a decent school. Even if your child is not retaining something, they are pushed through the curriculum, given the answers, and then put on "A Honor Roll". I do not, and never will, recommend Cornerstone. Overall horrid experience with my child there."

"It's a great school, as I was a student there who had his own struggles, wasn't the greatest. But they really cared and tried to still work with me after all the trouble I put them through. These are really caring people here who will not give up on you in your roughest times. It will take some getting use to if you came from Public School, but I definitely say it's worth it. Impressively you could call them family."

"Cornerstone offers the best preschool opportunity in the Statesville area! My daughter enjoyed two years in the preschool program. She learned how to play nicely with others, made life-long friends and learned how to be a good student. The teachers truly care about my child; they went out of their way to build a connection with her. I’ve been a K-5 teacher for almost 15 years and I feel incredibly confident in the program and my daughter’s readiness for kindergarten. Thank you Cornerstone for being the awesome foundation for learning that my child will remember forever! You guys are awesome; thank you!"
