Rising Sparrow Tattoo

"Went to Rising Sparrow back when they were in their old location to get a tattoo colored in. The entire time the tattoo artist was pushing me to change the color palette I wanted to make it look brighter/more colorful to match his style (I went with what he said and now regret it). He also offered a free one time touch up within a certain amount of time after the appointment. Now, he was either a visiting artist or quit soon after my appointment because when I returned for the touch up he no longer worked there (even though he responded to my email stating he was still there). They let the apprentice tattoo me and he went too deep on the tattoo so now parts of it are scarred. He also added a border around the edge without previously asking me. Then charged me several hundred for a botched touch up. My issue isn't that I didn't get a free touch up - it's that I was misinformed about my original artist, then not told that the second artist was an apprentice/new, and then overcharged for the work I had done. I now have a tattoo with great linework (from another shop), a weird border that looks like a bruise, the wrong colors, uneven color, and scarring."

"Ladies, please stay away. Not sure how Patrick still isn’t in jail/prison for the things he’s done to women that he has had in his shop and especially what he did to his “fiancé”. Don’t support Patrick and his business."

"***WOMEN BEWARE*** This shop owner has been known for predatory/abusive/violent behavior for YEARS. ***do not take drinks from him & do not be alone with him!*** I don’t know how this place is even still open & this man isn’t in jail. Also very well known for keeping deposits when no services were provided. Avoid avoid avoid!!"

"Patrick is the type of tattoo artist that’s limited. I scheduled my appointment and put down a $200 deposit 2 months ago. The day of appointment cancels because of daughter. Oky. Then next day 30 minutes before my appointment he had his assistant message me to tell me he can’t do that type of tattoo and he’s gonna refund my money even though he messaged me 2 hours before to confirm the time I was supposed to come in. No wonder Patrick didn’t win Ink Master. He’s limited and sucks. Worst customer service ever. Do not recommend"

"A couple of my buddies have gotten tattooed at Rising Sparrow. This is a top notch group of tattoo ARTIST. If you are looking for the best in the area go see these guys. I am looking forward to the opportunity to get a tattoo at this shop. Alex did this particular tattoo for my friend."
