"Attended the azalea festival the weekend of April 9th through the 11th. Our first time and it was really nice. Many vendors and live entertainment. Best part for me was the sunset from our hotel room. We stayed at the Hotel Ballast and to our surprise there was a firework show on Saturday night."

"This part of Wilmington is beautiful and is wonderful for walking and people-watching. There are many places to eat and to procure alcoholic beverages. The Riverwalk is worth seeing and if you can find a place to eat on the river, you can see the ships and boats as they slide by. Many people we saw were walking their dogs and one of the restaurants we ate at had a bowl set out for them."
