"Updated 3-15-2022 - In response to Alex's comments below we decided to give them a second chance. My wife called today to see if we could come in on Friday to look at tile (4 days in advance). The lady who manages appointments told her that if we didn't have a contractor we could not enter the store. She went on to say that Alex was 2 weeks out on appointments, but she would have Alex call back. She was not nice on the phone and apparently nothing has changed. If your policy is the general public is not welcome then put that on your website. We got an appointment at the Tile Connection on Friday and they were super friendly on the phone and didn't require a contractor to have an account there. Sorry, was hoping for better service, but pretty much the same. ______ I went into the showroom and was ignored for 5 minutes as I browsed. Three employees behind the counter discussed their children while a fourth, Darcee, was with a customer. Darcee stopped her meeting to ask me for help and when I said yes, said she was with a customer and did I have an appointment? I was there to buy tile and plenty of others could of helped me but did not offer. Hello? new customer in the store may want to offer them some help? Darcee then wants to know if I have and account and says I need to apply for an account before I can buy. Finally, I get a sample and account application, and send HER an email the same day asking for a price. She gets back a week later and says she "dropped the ball" I called back again and spoke to a guy who also wants me to set up an account, although I explained that I don't need terms and can pay in advance. The overall unfriendly attitude and poor customer service led me to writing this review and looking for a new tile vendor after these guys delayed my project 1.5 weeks and then tell me the tile I wanted has been sold. I honestly don't think they have a clue how unprofessional they are. The bottom line is they don't seem to care about your business."

"Darcee was amazing! After sharing my likes and dislikes in decorating preferences, she nailed every tile choice for every room in our new home. My experience with her was an absolute pleasure. Darcee is incredibly well versed in her field and really talented. I appreciated her attention to detail as well as budget. I will recommend this team to anyone I encounter looking for tile needs!"

"We own a remodeling business in Ohio and we're doing a large tile project for good friends outside of Charlotte this coming week. We called our local tile vendor and they set up the whole order from this Florida Tile location so we wouldn't have to transport the products. When our friend went to pick up the material on March 27 the manager was rude and took forever to find the order. Then when the order was found he didn't have 3 of the key components for the order when they had the order placed for over 2 weeks with plenty of time to procure the items. They also didn't have a clue how to invoice the order when arrangements had already been made with Pro Source of Columbus and emails had been sent back and forth. Again, the manager was rude and interrupted our conversation and talked over me. We quickly found out that the Dayton, OH Florida Tile had all of the products we needed in stock. We are picking them up this morning and driving them to NC for our project since the Charlotte location totally dropped the ball on this. Someone really goofed up big time with a very simple task. Do your job! We have had great luck with the Columbus and Dayton Florida Tile locations with great customer service. We would hope that corporate headquarters will see this and make some changes to the Charlotte location. Until then, find another tile distributor and don't waste your time here."
