"Have had two kids at Goddard. My youngest is three and will continue until kindergarten. First and foremost, the school is extremely clean and well-kept. The owners are so friendly and also have two little kids so you know they get it. Teachers have been communicative about how my kids are doing. When they are having a hard time with my kid, they’ve been open to feedback and tips. I like how we have to pack our own lunches because I prefer to have some level of control over what my kids eat (though the school does provide snacks). My oldest was more than ready for kindergarten and this was partially due to the school and the learning curriculum. There is a focus on social emotional learning, which I find invaluable. They talk about feelings and have a calming corner in each classroom. The school is pricey and that is likely a barrier for a lot of people. For us, and our financial situation, it is manageable and we feel like the money is an investment in our kids wellness."

"If I could give the Goddard School in Asheville more than 5 stars I would. This school goes above and beyond the expectations of what any parent would want in child care their own child. From the moment we arrive my child is excited to be there! As we enter the building there is always a familiar face there to greet you, but what sticks out about their greeting is that they always greet my child first! When we get to the classroom the teacher(s) also great my child first, immediately engaging with him, no matter if they are busy or not. They make the drop off experience easy on both; my child and myself. Once I leave the facility I know that my child will be well taken care of, as well as safe. am reassure that my son is safe, not only is this based off of the security checks/systems they have in place to keep their children safe within the facility, but because of the staff. The employees feel genuinely happy to be there everyday. The owners Mikeala and Hank are always there working side by side with their employees. Everyone there makes it feel as if that don’t just own/run a business, they are invested in their business and they are invested in each and every child’s future. Everyday I feel confident that I am leaving my child is the very best of hands and throughout my day I am reassure by receiving at least one (usually more) picture of my child every single day. In each of those pictures, my child is always happily engaged with hands on activities and interacting with his peers. The Goddard School in Asheville exceeds all of my expectations for childcare! I know that they will strive to do the same for every parent/child that chooses their school! They are a blessing to my family, we couldn’t be happier!"
