How do u not thank your customers for coming in or atleast muster a little smile of gratitude for having a job? If this guy continues to work here, I'll probably just go across the street to the Mobil or Exxon and hopefully they care more about their customers opinions."

"Supervisors could clearly care less about their customers or employees. When I got in line, it was five people deep. There was one female checking people out, and two others behind the counter just standing there and talking. The male behind the counter made eye contact with me, clearly seeing how many people were in line, but continued to just stand there and not offer the one cashier any backup. When I finally got to the counter, the one cashier working still greeted me and had a good attitude. As a retail store manager for many years myself, I couldn't believe that the supervisor was allowing her to be the only one providing any service instead of offering to help. I felt bad for her because of this and was impressed by the fact that she remained so positive. I mentioned to her about her coworkers not helping her and she said it was like that every night. I told her how much I appreciated her and that I was sorry she wasn't receiving any support and told her to keep her head up. The supervisor at this location needs a serious priority check before he/she loses all their employees due to their apathy and has to run the store alone. This kind of management is a big part of why people avoid retail positions. I applaud the cashier's spirit and dedication in the face of such poor management."
