He has a great staff that is always willing to help or answer questions. Even though it is a relatively small store, he has a good selection of wine kits, cider kits, and beer-making ingredients on hand. Need bottles, caps, corks, flavoring agents, oak, yeast, or chemicals? He's got that, too. He also has most of the necessary related equipment for the average homebrewer/ fermenter, some of which is also available used, for an even better deal. If he doesn't have something in stock, he can special-order even more items, with delivery usually in just a few days, all at competitive prices.
