Lenoir ABC Store

"Not much to say as it is a State owned liquor store. But, they have a good selection compared to some others I've been in and the employees are very friendly and helpful"

"My sister and I got to this ABC store bout 8:40. There were 2 older guys working. We were trying to purchase a Christmas gift and us not being a drinker, we asked their opinion on some crown. The older of the 2 smarted off at us and said, well you shouldn't have to question the flavor, what else do you want to know. When we got ready to check out, we were goin to get a gift card as well, the same man said "Come on ladies, it's a quarter til 9 and we have other customers standing every where". Neither of them knew how to ring up a gift card nor did they even know where the gift cards were. Very rude and unprofessional."

"Went to this store last Monday and didn't have to have a mask. Went there this Monday and was denied service because I didn't have a mask on. I'm telling you people there at the store,you need to read the law that has been out by the state of North Carolina on line, and it says that you can not force anyone to wear a mask. Not refuse service to the public. You better learn it before someone Sue's for discrimination. I'll not do business there any more. The people are pretty hateful when they speak."

"This is the store that is just minutes from my home. The owner was very rude. Did not greet us when we walked in,asked us who was paying. When we said that we were both paying he proceeded to keep asking who was paying. At this point he was told several times that we were paying with 2 cards. He became belligerent and we ended up putting our selections back and walked out. The owner then followed us outside to the parking lot where he used profanity. Rude and unprofessional. Spend your money elsewhere. We ended up driving out of our way to another ABC store. Paying customers shouldn't be treated this way. When we called corporate they said that they'd call back but never heard anything."

"Good prices. I love the layout of this store. They have everything grouped together and labeled by type of alcohol. This store is always so neat and clean. The staff is always extremely polite and knowledgeable. They have always been very helpful and friendly when I have been in there."
