"Similar to other reviews, I would not recommend this location to families with small children. The staff/branch manager are not welcoming to parents with children under 3. Fortunately, other branches in the Charlotte Mecklenburg system are extremely kid-friendly!"

"This library is a mixed bag because it’s either really quiet or everyone is speaking at a normal talking volume and none of the staff ever enforces the idea that the library is supposed to be quiet. Definitely pass on this if you study or read without noise cancelling headphones. It’s a nice library otherwise though."

"What a treat to have a library in the community — though a small location, it is accessible and easy to navigate. There is a small children’s room that has three computers with educational and creative programs. The children’s books are alphabetical by author’s last name and easy to access. There are often youth activities available (coloring pages for example) as you exit. Though it doesn’t open until 9 am on weekdays, there is a book return directly outside the main entrance. It is simple to reserve books online and pick-up in the library (shelves near the children’s room)! Easy, private parking lot too!"

"I've been carrying my library card ever since I could write my name. I love the NC Libraries and enjoyed my time at this branch as a REALTOR®. Thanks to the fast wifi I was able to quickly jump between multiple tabs, play video and post. While I was working I could barely hear some of the locals communicating with the librarians and I could tell based on their tones that both were smiling. Quick answers were given when a member asked how to find a DVD. Good workspaces, friendly staff and best of all Great room for parents and children to enjoy a good book together!"
