DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Fayetteville

"An OK stay aside from the moldy coffee maker in the room. I brought my moldy cup of coffee down to the front desk and told them about it. Was informed the next day that the manager couldn't find any mold and that they were not going to replace the coffeemaker. The machine positively reeked of mold and in my opinion, this is a health and safety issue. If this is how they act when it comes to replacing a $20 coffee machine that's obviously moldy, imagine the shortcuts they take on a million other things? I'm a pretty loyal Hilton guest and stay at least 45 nights per year in their hotels. I will never be back to this location."

"Customer service very rude (Britney). Applied only half of my food service credit. I explained that my wife and I checked in and we were told we would get both. She refused to believe me. Made me feel like a liar proceeds to troll me there was no buffet anyway. There was. I would not make it up The quality of the buffet was stingy you will leave hungry. They had one greasy piece of bacon, a few overcooked sausage and no pancakes or waffles Unacceptable for a hotel like this. Better places to stay that know hospitality. Treating someone like they are lying is inappropriate. She could have checked with the supervisor I identified as the person who told me that and resolved it -over 15 bucks? Won't stay there ever again and I travel a lot."

"Traveling down to Charleston SC for Christmas, my wife and I had to do a layover in Fayetteville NC due to a car malfunction. The hotel is right off the interstate exit, premo location. Service was very adequate and friendly. The value is where they come up short. Most hotels we have stayed in offer breakfast with your stay at no additional cost. Unfortunately, this hotel offered breakfast at an additional cost, and didn't even attempt to get coffee. The cost of the room was a wee bit higher than surrounding hotels but, at the late hour we didn't feel we had time to search, too tired from the day and the auto issue. This is not high on my list to revisit anytime soon. Be vigilant and check the surrounding hotels for better values and service."

"Had a nice 2 night stay. Rooms were well kept and clean. Staff was very friendly. They had free coffee in the morning but no free breakfast. Alot of meal options nearby."

"Rooms were clean, hallway smells like mold, $290.00 for a room and breakfast costs $12.99 doesn’t come complimentary. We decided to just have breakfast elsewhere if we had to pay anyway. Had I known I would have booked at one of the many other hotels in the immediate area. Sadly many times when you go into the parking lot homeless people approach you asking for money, one man explained he lived under the close by bridge with many others. We were happy it was clean and fit our party of six but overall eh."
