Hargett Park

"I enjoy this park a lot. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are ALWAYS looked. I have spoken to other people that come to the this park, and they also complain about the looked bathrooms. I don't know if it's because workers just don't want to clean them up, or if any other reason. I am writing this review in hopes that this problem will be resolved. It a shame that people have find a different park just because these bathrooms are not open."

"Their Easter egg hunt was a disorganized mess where one girl told me my babies missed the first hunt and told me to get a head start in the other area, the lady setting up there yelled at me that there was five more minutes, only to be overrun by all the big kids (no sorting by age) who'd claimed the other eggs and were not held back or stopped in any sort of way. So my kids got only three eggs (thanks to a very kind lady who was with a cookie vendor and noticed they were going to miss anything in the first hunt) and then my son hurt his chest sliding off the broken slide that's covered only by a pallet with a zip tie on one side after older kids pulled it back and encouraged playing this way. (Surely there's a better way to close this off if it can't be fixed? Someone will be hurt) One of the oldest girls told her smirking mother as we left that she was going back to the slide because it was fun. A horrible first and last impression."

"For softball parents. Field 1 & 2 use Hearn Street. Field 3 & 4 use Deas Street. Lots of bleachers, plenty of shade to find, parking is very limited. There are two lots accessible from two different streets so pay attention. Concessions & playground are at fields 3 & 4, snacks only, no hot food. No concessions at fields 1 & 2. They take card and cash. Bathrooms are basic with two stalls each."

"Enjoy going here to walk my dog and let my children ride their bike or whatever. Normally it isn't crowded as long as there's no games going on. Has some awesome walking trails here but the playground area is certainly not the best in my opinion. It is a lot smaller and there's less for kids to do on it then most of the other parks I've visited in the area"
