"Walked over to Taco Boy while waiting on our car to be serviced. The friendly staff and laid-back vibe make this little place a hidden gem hiding in plain sight. Excellent salsa, chips, and guacamole, which does have crema in the recipe. Fajitas were quite good. The portions are generous, and the prices can not be beat for the quality. Will definitely be back!"

"Had high hopes for this place, but they were quickly dashed. The Spicy Margarita was not tasty and had a pathetic Taijin rim (barely any on it) and it was much smaller than expected. All I could taste was the heap of jalapenos in it and the tequila that came through too strong. Then my Ground Beef Nachos came out *extremely* burnt. My only guess is they threw the cooked ground beef and queso on the chips, THEN cooked it. The chips were near inedible, as hard as I tried. I sent it back and got a single corn flour steak taco, which was ok, but nothing to write home about. The limes they gave me refused to give out a single drop, however. I usually try to err on the side of niceness in my reviews, but this place left an actual sour taste in my mouth as I departed. I don't believe it deserves the 4.6 stars it currently has."

"FRIGGIN. TACO. BOY. Look - it's an absolute hole in the wall, and it's amazing. Fantastic margaritas, great food, and friendly service. This is THE place to go for Mexican food. The Camarones a la Diabla is stellar - but don't skip on Carnitas or Chili Verde. 11/10 would recommend"

"It’s been a while since we’ve been to Taco Boy. One taste and I remembered why we loved it back in the day! Service - EXCELLENT Food- EXCELLENT Price- SUPER AFFORDABLE I highly recommend this Farragut gem. Looks like a hole in the wall from outside. Inside there’s lots of reasons to keep coming back! Today we had the chicken fajita nachos and they were incredible. Great tea, too. Can be hard to exit and go left. Heads up. Worth it even on busy Campbell Station Road."
