"As a Charlotte native I’ve been to this museum countless times as a child on field trips, but it definitely hits different as an adult when you can actually appreciate the art in front of you. I had the pleasure to attend a special ticketed event showcasing NC wines and chefs. It was truly an amazing experience and so much fun. Each winery had a special dish paired with their wines and everything married so well. And while sipping, got to walk around the museum exploring the exhibits. Whether you go just for a regular visit or for a special event, I think anyone will enjoy this beautiful museum."

"I went with my partner during Pride weekend and the admission fee was free. If you're thorough and read through almost every piece, you can spend up to 4 hours here! The museum seemingly changes their exhibitions so keep a look out if there's something you really want to see. The establishment also has a little shop downstairs where you can purchase goodies."

"I loved the free event today, giving all the community a chance to explore the exhibits. This piece was my favorite, i love the eyes, the quote from the artist "I LOVE ART" and the swirling faces under the clock. There's so much to see in this one piece but the museum offers so much more."
