"Great atmosphere, neat and clean salon. Only reason didnt give 5 stars because service took longer than expected.( came in at 2pm and left close to 6pm) things happen ... I only came for loc maintenance ( which I wasn't informed until arrival that I needed to bring the hair to make some of the locs thicker) which is totally fine. The staff is very well educated when it comes to hair and how to maintain healthy hair. Especially janay I think her name was ( the head stylist) . I plan on coming back because they offered a lot of different services."

"I SAT IN THE STEAM BOWL FOR AN HOUR AND THEN WALKED OUT. My first time going here. My appointment was at noon, and I arrived on time. The stylist placed me in the steam bowl and never came back. This was a classic case of get a client's hair wet and stick them in the sink to wait as long as you want them to. I don't have words for this level of TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL service by an ARROGANT stylist who thinks clients will wait on her as long as she wants them to. I will continue to go to DC and get my hair done when I go up there for work once a month. NEVER AGAIN will I go to this salon. This is why black businesses don't get the business they need because we don't value each other's time, money and business."

"I took my son in for 2 strand twists. He was very happy with the service Jill gave him. He felt relaxed and enjoyed the TLC he received at the salon."

"The hair stylist did not care how she styled my hair. She did not detangle my hair. I requested leave in conditioner and she put only one small dot size for a head full of hair. The stylist did not thoroughly distribute the conditioner through out my hair. She put two twists in my hair, one twist going straight back and the other twist going to the side. When I left the salon it looked like a child did my hair. I was so disappointed with the way my hair looked. I had to go home to fix my hair so it could look presentable."
