He provided an educated recommendation and was able to move things along quickly when I decided on a treatment plan. His staff are friendly and highly proficient. It is clear that Dr. Patel has created a great culture within his practice, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in the Cary/Durham area looking for an orthodontist."

"The dreadful day had come when I was told by our dentist that my son will finally need to see an orthodontist. We were referred to a practice where the doctor said my son should go ahead and get braces. I found that to be a bit odd as my son was 9 at the time, and I figured perhaps it's best to get a second opinion. I discovered Tooth by Tooth as a friend of ours was just opening up the practice. Their location is tucked away in a complex opposite of the Parkside shopping area. Their office is brand new with a modern yet welcoming feel. You walk in to a desk on the right side with a kiosk to check-in for your appointment. The staff was extremely amicable and helped us through the process. After a brief wait, we went in to see Dr. Patel who did an extensive examination and I explained what had happened previously. As my son was still a bit young and had some baby teeth, he suggested getting some of them pulled and using a spacer to see if the new teeth will naturally fill in as my son's jaw grows. Eventually, he will need to use braces, but this would minimize the severity. That honest and candid opinion was exactly what we were looking for! My son has regular visits now to check-in on the spacers and make adjustments to maximize the natural growth of the adult teeth. The staff and Dr. Patel have always taken the time to explain everything to my son before proceeding with anything, and that has been a huge help to keep him calm and open to the procedures and evaluations. Needless to say, we've found our orthodontist. While no one ever wants to have to go to an orthodontist...if you have to, Tooth by Tooth Orthodontics should be on your go-to list."
