"I have called and texted several times asking for a copy of my x-rays and my estimate and have not received it. I was not informed that I am responsible for the payment up front and would be reimbursed. I was told that the office has my latest x- rays which were taken a week before my visit and the dentist pulled my x-rays from 3 years ago during my evaluation. I think writing a negative review for a business is a serious responsibility, but the Cary office has failed on all fronts of communication to date which makes me question the oversight and work being performed here. I am still waiting on receiving the requested information."

"Dr. Valentine is the best! I’ve had the pleasure of knowing him for several years now and have had a few procedures with him. Everything is always very comfortable, especially for someone with procedural anxiety. He’s great at explaining things and works well with his staff. Highly recommend!"

"Poor communication between this provider and my dentist, lot of mismatch in message which concerned me. Surgery seems to be fine. Ridiculously bad follow-up with TarHeels’s insurance processing staff. Expecting to not be reimbursed at all after 8 months of communicating with Tar heel who is doing the claim submission in a very opaque way and will not share information with me on it. Update: its been over 10 months now, I cannot get a manager to contact me and I as of yet do not have any record of any claim record ever being submitted. I would not recommend this place to anybody unless they plan to never be reimbursed by insurance. Excellence or Apathy are organization habits from the top, I doubt only the insurance dept is at this low level of quality. Dropping to 1 star based on clear lack of interest in being customer focused."

"Jamie and Ebony at the Front Desk were so nice and greeted me warmly on my first appointment, taking the time to make sure all my paperwork was filled out properly. Kiara took the time to explain everything to me after my appointment and even provided her phone number in case anything came up and offered prompt and courteous responses when called. The staff here was so nice and I am thankful for their ability to get me in the schedule relatively quickly!"

"If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This was by far the absolute worst experience I've had at any medical office in my entire life. I had a consult and met with Ashley, the treatment coordinator, to go over pricing and scheduling. I paid half up front. She and I discussed a few things and I was to call her later that day and follow up. I was unable to get ahold of her for more than a week and a half after having left multiple messages. When she did finally reach back out to me the first thing she said was "I was going to call you today anyway because I need the remainder of your payment." This was a red flag. You can call when you want money, but not when a new patient has questions. I had to continue to follow up with the office and ask questions about my upcoming conscious sedation appt. The morning of, I was instructed to take the meds 1 hour before arrival. When I got to the office they cancelled my appointment because they did not give me the appropriate consent paperwork to sign prior to my appointment, to which I arrived "inebriated." I understand why the papers couldn't be signed when I was on meds but all of this should have been handled prior to my appointing. The doctor didn't even come in to apologize about the circumstances (in which I took a full day off of work and had arranged for someone to drive me and stay IN the office for the duration of my procedure). Sarah, the treatment manager, did follow up the next day and she was the only person who acted like they even cared. She said they addressed the issue in the office. Had everyone handled business the way she did with me we would not have had this issue. All that to say, my trust in this clinic was completely diminished and I will NOT be going back under any circumstances."
