"Horrible service for dreadlocks! My hair was matted on both sides of my ears, bc the person putting my dreads in said to not take out what appeared to be a crown of thorns! It was horrible, he told me after the first visit to come back in six weeks! After speaking with knowledgeable lock specialist and looking at videos online I was told wrong. I write this poor review for two reasons, one: I got some kind of bacteria on the nap of my neck from the nasty wash bowl, and two when I went back to this person they left the shop and didn't tell me until I called to make sure he didn't forget. Which he did, he took pictures of the back of my neck where it was matted, and then he didn't take the matted hair loose, he pushed in down into the dreads and it looked like the size of a quarter. I took the dread out so my new stylist wouldn't charge me for something that was another stylist fault. Place is nasty and other than the sister locks specialist that young man should be ashamed of himself. What a disappointment the second Appt was where he moved, place was clean sink was clean, people were not friendly and after he rushed through my hair he said he had something to do 6 weeks later, and didn't set an appointment. After 2 weeks, the hair he twisted was lose and I had to take down the rubber bands and find another specialist. No training provided, unsanitary, unfriendly and not a happy start to my journey into locks. If I could not give any stars I wouldn't!!!"
