"Leaving a negative review like this is never something I like to do. I feel like I need to share my experience since the owner of this Tint Word, Nick Wynne, literally ran beside my car screaming at me trying to intimidate me into not leaving a review. He was very nice at first and seemed to be knowledgeable but once I had issues I found Nick to be very aggressive, condescending, arrogant, a poor communicator with no customer service skills and someone who has some serious anger issues! I didn't get what I paid for and my car's automatic headlights were impacted by the film they applied to my windshield. The film they applied to my windshield was supposed to not interfere with any electronics but a guarantee is only worth as much as the integrity of the person or company who offers it. I was never offered an apology and any attempt to remedy the situation was only after a heated exchange and after trying to blame me or trying to say I had faulty equipment on my brand new Bronco. I went to Tint World and asked that the front 2 windows of my new Bronco be tinted to a darkness that matched the back windows of the SUV and a clear film be added to my windshield for heat resistance. I was told by the shop manager that it would be no problem, that they could do a great job and give me what I wanted. I paid them $483.69. I was shocked when I saw my car once they finished. The windows were nowhere near as dark as my back windows. The shop manager, Isaiah, told Nick that I wanted to keep them a legal darkness but that was a complete fabrication. He wanted cover for himself since he never talked to me about was legal in NC, or ever asked if I wanted to go darker than what is legal. Nick told me he trained Isaiah to talk about the legal limits with everyone so he knew he did it. Nick never considered that Isaiah wasn't being truthful so that he wouldn't get in trouble. I just wanted my windows to match the back ones. I didn't care if they were too dark to be legal. Before they started on my car Isaiah also asked me to sign something so that he, "could drive my car around back". It was a link that he sent to my phone. I could hardly read it but later I found out that it said I wanted 35% film, so what he told me about it was also not true. I'm not a tint expert. I didn't know what 35% tint was and it was never explained to me. Isaiah only told me they could do what I asked and that's what I expected to get. Nick admitted to me that they have had a bunch of others recently that were not happy with what Tint World did to their vehicles and he "couldn't just replace everyone's film for free". Eventually, after a very heated exchange with Nick they did change the tint on the front windows. A week later when my auto headlights were still not working, we scheduled an appointment for me to bring my vehicle back. Nick said he wanted to replace the windshield film with a lower quality film thinking that would solve the issue but he never actually did it. I came in for my appointment and Nick said the lights worked fine in the few minutes he spent in my vehicle so he wasn't going to do anything to it. In the two weeks I spent with film on the windshield I took numerous pictures of the lights on in broad daylight. I have included 2 of them. I also shared these with Nick. He finally agreed to remove the film but offered no refund or alternative solution. Nick got really aggressive when I was leaving because I told him he acted like a complete (rude person) and that I would be leaving a review. He said, "so have you". While I was leaving he ran beside my car screaming at me calling as I drove away. With so many options for the same services I would highly recommend using someone other than Tint World! I also reached out to Tint World's corporate office and they have yet to reply. I waited a few days to write this review just to make sure that there was nothing wrong with my headlights. My headlights have worked perfectly since the film was removed from the windshield. This is a short version of all that happened since I'm limited here."
