"The turbo in my Ford F350 blew out just outside Black Mountain. It was Black Friday and Chuck was the only person answering calls. He got me connected to a tow truck, recommended a safe spot to have the truck towed to, a motel across the street so I could keep an eye on my truck and trailer, and drove me to the parts place to pay for the new turbo. As soon as the part came in, he picked it up and replaced it in the freezing cold.I cannot recommend this company enough."

"Rip offs taking advantage of truckers. They charged is $150 an hr with minimum of 2 hrs. Ok we agreed to $300. Guy arrives is there 15 mins tells my driver there is nothing he can do and charges us $469.22. It's ashame this roadside service takes advantage of trucking companies at there weakest."

"McCurry’s Diesel RoadsideRepair, LLC ***** The diesel fuel filter on our 2017 Winnebago Navion RV, which is built on a Mercedes Sprinter van chassis, began leaking when we we stopped for supplies at Walmart in Marian, NC on a Friday afternoon. We were given the name of Hall’s Towing and Recovery located in Black Mountain, NC. They couldn’t help us right away but highly recommended McCurry’s, located near our location. Chuck took our information then called us back to tell us he had ordered the filter but it wouldn’t arrive until 9 am the next day. The next morning he kept in touch and let us know when he was on the way. Chuck was very knowledgeable and professional and replaced the filter getting us back on the road in no time. We highly recommend Chuck at McCurry’s, he works on all types of vehicles, not just diesel engines. Barb & Tom"

"I was coming up Old Fort Mountain, heading west, in the fast lane and near the top when I had a flat. Scary. Up ahead I saw a Walmart truck stopped on the side of the road and I pulled in behind it. Luckily for me, McCurry was working on the truck. The kind man agreed to help me. He found a screw and was going to patch to save money but discovered it was blown out in 4 places. He put the doughnut on my car and I got home safely. I am so grateful for McCurry's!"

"McCurry’s was the only service provider that answered the phone when the hub broke on my travel trailer on Interstate 40 near Old Fort. After I managed to coax the wounded camper over the mountain, McCurry’s recommended a parking lot to set the camper at for repairs, showing up with a fully stocked repair truck to diagnose the issue. Ordering the parts was delayed due to lack of availability but Chuck from McCurry’s kept me up to date as repairs progressed - very good communication during a stressful event as my camper was broken three hours from home. I felt like everything was in good hands and Chuck flawlessly made the repair and we were on our way again! A+ and definitely recommended for any roadside emergency."
