The Good Samaritan House thrift shop, located in a charming white house on Highway 17 in Wilmington, North Carolina, is a beacon of hope for those in need in our community. Open since 1995, the shop offers affordable clothing and housewares to those facing financial struggles. In addition to providing essential items at low cost, Good Samaritan House also offers direct assistance to individuals in exceptional circumstances.

Winter has arrived, and our shelves are stocked with cozy winter merchandise waiting to warm your heart. Proceeds from sales at the thrift shop are donated to local organizations that support those in need, making a positive impact on our community.

We are currently in need of children's clothing in sizes 12 months to youth XL, as well as winter coats, hats, gloves, and warm blankets. Donations should be gently used and in good condition, as we strive to provide quality items to those who rely on our services.

Please note that we do not accept furniture, mattresses, electronics, or loose hangers at this time. Donations can be dropped off at the back door during our normal operating hours. Your generosity and support help us continue our mission of serving those in need with compassion and dignity.
