"I wasn’t going to write a review on this, but unfortunately, the manager being rude was enough for me to write this review. I’m not quite sure which manager it was, but I just know it was the old one who tried to school me on legal terms. But I would like to make things right. She told me that legally, she cannot give me the money that her worker stole from me when giving me the incorrect cash back amount without an ID. I’m sure that she knew this wasn’t true because at the end I walked away with my cash. Me and my friend had split a transaction for a perfume that was for our other friend for Christmas. We both paid cash for the purfume, and it was 52.24 or something like that. The worker informed me that she could split the cash that she would do two separate payments. I gave 50 and my friend gave 40 we were only given $17 back in cash that was when I knew that I lost 20 something dollars in cash but I didn’t realize until after I had left the mall. Me and my mom share phone numbers for any accounts so we can share the rewards. In their system there’s two accounts with the exact same information except one is Olivia Thompson and one is a Jennifer Thompson I had to use a Jennifer Thompson that day. It took them two days to figure out that they had given me the wrong cash back. Which mind you they had to check the security cameras so the manager knew what I looked like but still refused to give me the money which to me is pretty sketch. She proceeded to call me at 6 PM to come get the money so I left my house with out my purse. When I went in, I was not expecting any conflict. I was just expecting to get the money because they were the ones in the wrong. The lady asked me for an ID and I refused and she told me that legally she has to see and ID. I informed her that I do not have to give her my ID and that she and her workers stole money from me. I have spent a pretty penny at the store."

"My first visit to Ultra Beauty in Boone was very disappointing. First, I’m grateful to Ultra Beauty for carrying a specific perfume that I needed to find for my mom for Christmas. But I had an underwhelming experience, mostly from a person who appeared to be a supervisor. After entering the store I quickly found the perfume I was looking for, however the sample bottle was empty. I took it to the front to make them aware. First, the young lady at the counter looked at me like I was speaking another language. Once she calmed down she called over the supervisor who then took the top off the empty bottle and told me to smell that as if I could get a good sample from the bottle top. That should’ve been my first clue. After more searching I found a gift set that I wanted but the box was in bad shape. I ask the same young lady at the counter if they had a different box, I’m purchasing this for my mom and I wanted the set to look new and clean, she asked the supervisor and the supervisor immediately said no without looking. I thought that was kind of strange. I told a different young lady at the counter that I wasn’t having a great experience and she apologized to me and asked if there was anything she could do, I told her no its fine. Before purchasing the gift set I opened the box to check the items and noticed one of the bottles was empty. The bottle was broken and perfume had leaked out of the bottle which is why the gift box was discolored. She went to show the supervisor and immediately came back to the counter with a new gift set, the same gift set the they were out of a minute ago. I confronted the young lady about this but she swore to me that they just found it in a matter of seconds. I’ve been treated this way a few times in my life, and it is a very horrible feeling. I’m not sure what in particular it was today that spurred this kind of treatment; my clothes, me being a male, or my skin color, but no one wants to be treated like a second class human. I expect the same kindness and service that everyone else receives regardless of gender or skin color."

I love that she does brown mapping at the beginning so that we are on the same page about how to browse. Will look when she’s done.
