"Tried this place on 12/26/23 while traveling across NC to visit family. Food was good, but anything past the main meat is an upcharge. Didn't see any "combos" on the menu, and the person taking orders didn't offer any info when we (especially my elderly parents) were a little confused by the menu posted on the wall. My brisket & fried okra were tasty, and my dining companions said their pulled pork & sides were "okay". My husband liked trying a sample of each sauce they offer before settling on his favorite. (I only tried the sweet bbq sauce, which was good.) Prices were pretty high, which was to be expected considering the type of shopping center & area of NC the store is located. (PS, the sweet tea was excellent, so I gladly took a "go cup" of it with me!)"

"The atmosphere and service were spectacular. The wings and chicken tenders were out of this world, and the fries were excellent."

"A bit disappointed in the location, I had high hopes for the look of this place. The food looked and seemed of good quality, but sadly as with any food that is meant to be served hot, ending up, room temperature at the table. We ordered pork BBQ, chicken, brisket and ribs for meat. The sides included collards, Mac and cheese and fries. Yes room temperature fries are not good. The collards were as unbelievable as it is, over seasoned to the point my wife couldn't eat them (Born and raised in the Carolinas, so yes we know what collards should taste like). The best side we tried was the Mac and cheese. As far as the meat went, the ribs were number one, followed by the brisket and chicken. Again a disappointment with something that should be, a given at a BBQ place, the BBQ. The BBQ was bland, I hate to say. The only thing saving the BBQ was the sauces that you could choose from. The basic sauce was a standard BBQ sauce for all around dipping. There was also a vinegar base sauce, the normal vinegar and pepper mixture. Still the BBQ needed help, because it was dry. Then we came to the bread, either cornbread or toast were the choices, and we had both. Strangely enough the toast won over the cornbread. Not because the toast was fantastic, but the cornbread was a bit off. The concept of a fast food BBQ location that can produce food like the folks that just down right love and have to be the best at it, is great. This location isn't it, unfortunately. Maybe they could be, but it will have to change, and for starters, hot food and talk to your customers."
