"I love this spot. The food is good, the store is clean, it’s fast, and has great employees and customer service. The only downside is that it’s a little expensive. I got a cheeseburger with a small size fries and a cup of water and it was $19. I did tip them $2 and change though because I drove to this location from my home in Wake Forest because I have been here before and prefer it to other burger locations closer to me and so I want to help keep the employees happy. And because I have worked in retail and food service before - you should always tip your food service people well. The “cheeseburger” is actually a double (two patties and two slices of cheese on a single bun - no extra bun in the middle). The “little cheeseburger” is what they call a single but the single patty is kinda thin so you really gotta go with the double for ultimate satisfaction (just don’t eat all of it if you’re not hungry enough for a double burger or if you’re trying to watch your calories). I have been to one other Five Guys in this area (the one off Capital in Raleigh) and this one is way better. The other one was kinda dirty - it smells like the grills need a good cleaning or something, there’s a lot of flies inside, and then obviously it’s on Capital Blvd which is just not the most attractive area and with not the best ambiance. This Roxboro Street location in Durham is the right amount of busy-ness, very clean, doesn’t smell like an old/dirty burger joint, and with good ambiance."
"Really good milkshakes! Stopped by to get milkshake - you can add as many toppings as you would like. I had a vanilla milkshake with strawberry, banana, oreo cookies crumbles, and also bacon bits. The milkshake was good and the bacon made it tastier (sweet and savory). Free salted peanuts. Friendly staff members and clean restaurant."
"I do not eat beef or pork. I heard about the veggie sandwich and decided to try it. It was delicious. Grilled onions, green peppers & mushrooms with cheese. It gave burgers vibes but with veggies. My new go to meal for lunch while at work. Great customer service as well. Very clean."
