"Excellent restaurant. House mixed drink menu is unique and has options for every taste. We enjoyed the pork chops, chicken and dumplings and smoked beef brisket. All were good, but not outstanding for the price. The sides mac and cheese and broccoli were outstanding."

"When I first ate here, it was during lunch time. I had the catfish with creamy cheese grits, and collards. The collards were okay, the grits were not thick and creamy, but the catfish was good with a crisp bite, and seasoned good. Second time I ate here was for a special occasion. I had The Cajun pasta with chicken. The chicken was very tough, I had to spit it out and tried my best to get through it without sending it back, but I had too! The waiter was very polite, patient, and kind and agreed that I shouldn't eat it. They remade the pasta with shrimp and the sauce was even better and more rich with more flavor. The dessert of cheesecake was actually really good. The macaroni and cheese was good! I would return here to eat and now I know exactly what to order."

"First time to dine in to this restaurant and my goodness the food was delicious for me, my husband didn't like the corn bread because it was just blend for his taste and the seafood gumbo But overall our main course were amazingly delicious. Another thing that my husband wasn't happy was the waitress, it took her a while to bring my husband's beer. And the adult dessert too. But when we got the drink called key key lime pie it was yummy we ended up another one. We ended up having 4 waitress to bring our order because our waitress keep disappearing. But we were satisfied with our meal except the service. Food was kinda costly but it was worth it because it was big portions and delicious. I had the shrimp and grits and Oh gosh it as out of this world as I would say it because never anywhere else that taste that good. This is base on my own experience and my taste preference. I apologize for the long review."

"This place was quite amazing. The ambience was date night casual and the food was magnificent. I went with a huge party of 15 and arrived early. The bartender was very accommodating with my drink orders and even offered to make me something amazing based on my Whiskey selection. Our waitress was very talented and got the whole party's order correct. Southern Pecan is at the top of my list to visit again."

"Went here for a birthday dinner great choice. Our bartender was amazing and every drink he made was amazing. We got an assortment of entrees and sides to try. We got the chicken which was delicious with great flavor. ALL the seafood we got was just delicious and flaky and juicy and tender. The pecan catfish was superb, great combination of flavors. The redfish was great too. Unfortunately the sides were just okay. And the pork chops were a bust. Not only was it unflavorful (especially compared to everything else) but it was extremely dry and overcooked. The dessert was pretty good. I think I would go back for the drinks alone."
