"Visited last night. 11/4/23. Luckily the store wasn't packed with folks. Charity pre-sale is going on. Buy a 25% off coupon for $5. Once you buy something, they give you the $5 back. And the 25% off is in addition to the sale price. Got 5 boxes of cheese straws tonight, which ended up really inexpensive. We've bought them before. Reg $13ea. They were 50% off, or $6.50. Then take extra 25% off with the coupon. $4.87ea. They take $5 off the total purchase. They even give you the coupon back to use to use again with other purchases. We were very pleased. I'd recommend."

"Belk continues to move in the right direction with the times at hand. Offering great deals and well times sales events. Suits at 1/2 price and higher end merchandise. To me Belk is much better than Kohls. I have to pay the same price for a cheap Polo at Kohls as a name brand at Belk."

"Good neighborhood department store. Bought some quality towels at a good sale price. Their mens clothes are cheaply made and very outdated. Besides the women at the cosmetics counters there appeared to be only one sales associate. I understand it is a slow monday but I wish they would put signs around indicating where the open cash registers are. Cosmetics, home and womens clothing are their strong points."

"Belk has lost its luster, and there's no attention to the details anymore. Dusty shelves and tops of displays. Completely missing the interior signage behind the glass elevator. Restrooms can sometimes be a bit sketchy. Some locations are no longer carrying certain brands such as Tommy, Polo, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and others. Makes you wonder if they will survive."

"I absolutely hate shopping here. They normally only have 2 registers open and all registers are helping returns, purchases, exchanges and everything else. They need a dedicated return/exchange/credit payment register so that shoppers are not waiting in line for 15 minutes to check out."
