"While the food never fails to meet expectations, this review was prompted by the restaurant values. It wasn't an accident that I pulled into the lot and received a text to help a family in need of food. I was there eating with my own family and saw the Food Rescue sign. I talked to a manager, and she immediately gathered food we were able to pass on to this family. I can't stop thanking God first and singing praises to City BBQ for such a wonderful partnership to not only combat food waste, but to also help feedy families. Thank you and God bless!"

"I came here from out of town, so I compared this bbq to kansas City. The food was not bad. i enjoyed the variety of sauces. I felt the brisket was a bit dry. I prefer smoky moist meat. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but did not blow my socks off. It's still worth trying"
