"Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed and would not recommend, nor will we be considering eating here again. We had been to the Blockade Runner pre-covid for brunch and enjoyed ourselves, so we thought that the Thanksgiving buffet would be an excellent Thanksgiving dinner for our family of 6, including family from out of town. The entire experience was disappointing. Some of the issues included: 1. We were seated in uncomfortable chairs that seemed to be patio / lawn chairs – They were worn and smelled as though they had been urinated on by animals. 2. The buffet was set up in a separate room, away from the dining room, so there was a walk involved – it seemed as though “anyone” could walk in and get food, whether or not you were part of the Thanksgiving buffet 3. The majority of the food was cold, none was more than lukewarm, including the meat and sides. 4. There was nobody manning the individual serving tables in the “food room”, so customers could “use their hands” to get food off the serving utensils, then put them back (stuffing, potatoes, etc. that were sticking to the utensils) 5. At the carving station, the servers did not know the proper way to serve the meat and used their gloved hands to serve the turkey, prime rib, and ham 6. Our after-dinner coffee mugs had noticeable lipstick on them when they came out. Given the per person price of this dinner, this fell way short of expectations and was not even close to what we experienced pre-covid. There are other much better options in the area, and we will unfortunately not be returning"

"I came here around 4pm on a Thursday for a solo celebratory birthday dinner. It was pretty empty, maybe two other parties around, but I still had trouble getting anyone's attention to be seated. I asked the bartender if they were open and he responded, in my opinion, kind of rudely "yeah" and then awkwardly left it at that, so then I asked if I could sit outside and he said Sure and would bring me a menu. Something about his demeaner just kind of put me off and I almost left on the spot but ended up staying because I didn't feel like searching for someplace else at that point. My actual server was a lot nicer fortunately but a little MIA in terms of checking in on drink refills, providing the check etc. I ended up ordering the shrimp tacos and a berry punch. Both the food and drink took longer than I would have expected for a place that was essentially deserted. Taste wise, the tacos were fine and the drink was good; not super strong but not weak either. Best part of this place was of course its location on the water, but service and food alone were probably not worth a return trip."

"We had a wonderful experience at breakfast with our server Kelsey. We ordered the Breakfast Bowl, per her recommendation, and the apple ginger coffee cake. Both were 10/10 delicious and very filling. We’ll be back!"

"No, no, and no. I have no words. That's the first time we've ever sent food back. Our host was awesome. The presentation of the food was good, but that crispy duck was rubbery. It's giving microwave. Will never return. That has to be the original furniture since they opened."

"Read pricey for market selections. But wonderful views and excellent meals. The swordfish was outstanding and the fries are PERFECT!! Omg, I'm deff going back."
