"A nice cheaper seafood restaurant option in the area. Most of the food is very good, including the clam chowder, fish and shrimp and the sweet tea is probably the best I've ever had. I don't recommend the scallops, as they are scallops of something, just not the scallops I was hoping for or used to. Ashley is a great server with an incredible personality and is an asset to this establishment."

"We found this little local spot on a visit to Sunset. The food was delicious and the prices perfect for a quick lunch. The service was quick and the wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great food for the price!"

"DO BETTER CALABASH SEAFOOD HUT I ordered the deluxe combo for $26 and ordered double fries instead of slaw. After waiting 30 minutes for our food, I opened the box to see a total of 16 fries and a soggy pile of seafood. After expressing my complaints, I was told typically the deluxe combo comes with 6 individual FRIES per the managers & owners request. This is absolutely ridiculous considering the price of the plate. Karissa is the only part of my experience at this “restaurant” that was worth anything. First time customer at this place, won’t ever happen again. Nice job, you got our $90 dollars !"

"Can’t believe that the seafood deluxe cost $26 and this is what you get. It took over 30 minutes to get our meal and the seafood was all soggy. When I asked about getting more fries than I received, I was told that I already had a double order since I didnt get slaw and that it’s usually 6 individual fries lol. Also got the $9 flounder sandwich which was soggy. I sent it back and they just refried the same piece of fish after I ate off of it. Ended up just requesting my money back for the sandwich. Nothing was seasoned and we were overall disappointed spending after spending almost $100 between my party. Won’t be returning."

"Lunch was great and portions were filling. My wife and I shared the original which was piled high! The staff worked hard to get people inside and got the food out quick! Only complaint were the flies which they do have an entrance fan to minimize those pests! We will eat here again."
