"Inside Atherton Mill. There is plenty of space for remote work and it's never too loud, even when busy. They don't have "for here" mugs, only "to go" cups. Coffee is decent, Chai is top tier. Dogs aren't allowed."

"The coffee is really good. However the staff will stare at you without speaking when you walk up to the register. No “hello” or “what can I get you.” I’ve been to this location a few times and every time I feel as though I’m inconveniencing and annoying the employees by asking for a coffee. I always say thank you and either get no response or a “mhm.” It’s just uncomfortable. The Dilworth location is much friendlier."

"A quaint stop in a multi-use old mill space! My husband and I stopped originally for food at the Living Kitchen not realizing that Not Just Coffee was inside as well. After our breakfast I wanted a coffee so we stopped by and I ordered a Peppermint Mocha. The person at the counter was wearing a Noah Kahan shirt and I complimented it because I think his music is great! She said thank you but otherwise seemed disinterested. I watched as they made my drink and I’m not sure if it is standard practice, but they free-poured the sauce and syrup into my cup. I know many coffee shops will measure out their flavors either by ounces or pumps for consistency and COGS. This barista put a very small amount of peppermint into the drink and about double the amount of mocha sauce. When I watched them pour the milk after steaming, it seemed like the milk was not aerated enough as it was very watery. Of course, I do not work here and do not know their standards. However, I have visited one of their other locations and had a much more enjoyable experience. I’m not sure if it was because three people ended up in line after my order was placed and their head was elsewhere, but when I visit Not Just Coffee I will be going to a different location."

"If you drink black iced coffee I would not go here. But the staff is very nice and it has a great atmosphere."

"Great coffee spot. Friendly staff and fun setting. I ordered a triple shot over ice and oat milk. The menu showed they have gluten free bread. If you need a place to study / work, this is a great location. Great skyline view of downtown Charlotte."
