"The Smoke Pit is delicious! I got the Large Hickory Pulled Pork plate with Mac 'n Cheese and Fried Okra! Sam got the Pulled Chicken plate w Mac 'n Cheese and Sweet Potato Casserole! All of it was great and Claudia was so sweet! THANK YOU SMOKE PIT!!! We will definitely be back soon!!!"

"Great service they were busy and almost sold out of ribs and burnt ends but they were extremely upfront when we got there and they made sure to accommodate and get us some burnt ends everything was great and our food was ready super fast this place never disappoints"

"Literally amazing flavor! If those three words aren't enough to get you in there then look at my credentials as a reviewer. I take my reviews very serious and it really takes stellar performance and flavor to get 5 stars from me. Everything from the waiting staff to the food was perfection! I ordered the pulled pork platter XL and it came with corn bread and 2 sides. I got collard greens and fries. I have never liked collard greens and usually just "tolerate" them. When I took that first bite I thought maybe the waitress brought me the wrong thing. They were a explosion of flavor with a kinda sweet heat and I'm pretty sure some fat back in there. Was some pulled pork in them as well. The cornbread was amazing and after the 1st taste I saved it for a desert. The fried were... Well they were fries. They were crispy and smoking hot. Let's get to the reason for even going in. The pork! It was very soft and had that smoked flavor that your mouth waters for when you even think about it. it needed no sauce, but what kinda review could I do on a BBQ place if I didn't include their sauce? I tried both and they were that kinda vinegary sauce north Carolina residents love. It really hit the spot center target. It was so good, I went back the next day! Pictures from Day 2. "I visited the drive-thru on my way out East and ordered the 3-Jumbo Wings. The skin was still loose and fatty. The size of the wings were smaller, so I would expect thee to be more on the organic or free range, which would be nice, but I can't confirm. I was expecting them to be a bit larger for the price, and with semi-crispy skin or at least a little drier. The hot sauce was "meh" at best. I ordered three sides and only ended up eating the okra. I would not suggest this place for the chicken wings. On top of the lackluster chicken wings, the service at the window was poor, too. Overall a less than desirable experience."

"It's a good place to eat. I got the Texas Brisket Plate and my wife got the Sliders. The Sliders came with a sweet sauce that had a little spicy kick to it and it was really good. Our server was great, overall everything was good."
