"I went for the bread pudding French toast but guess that was a seasonal item. I’d been wanting to try the spot for a while and waited until the coldest day to go, but it was worth it. The meal was awesome. Tons of leftovers and my heart was won with an offer of a to go cup of coffee. Will be back. The moon dust potatoes will knock your socks off!"

"I love their spicy Bloody Mary. It pairs so well with the delicious, one-of-a-kind, shrimp and grits. Their staff is so thoughtful and attentive, especially Susan. Excellent pricing on a wide variety of options. Don’t forget their apple butter to go with your flying biscuit, amazing! Highly recommend as a place to bring out of town guests for a southern treat!"

"This had become our favorite breakfast place in the Charlotte area. We have tried several dishes and they are all delicious! Their fried chicken and potatoes are so good throughout their dishes. The fried chicken is bland like most chicken and waffle dishes you have at other breakfast restaurants. Their grits were flavorful. Everything is complemented with their amazing biscuits and apple butter. They have a lot of coffee options for coffee lovers. The environment of the restaurant is ecclectically beautiful. It has an artsy vibe giving it a unique and welcoming atmosphere. It feels local and makes you want to stay."
