"We were on the road on wanted a quick, local lunch. It was busy at 2 on a Sunday afternoon. We chose outside as it was very noisy inside. It was great. Lots of interesting pizza options. We had a delicious salad with I assume local tomatoes that were beautiful and delicious. We ordered a daily special pizza which was yummy. Service was very efficient. Would love to return and try some of their other pies"
"FORTIFIED MY PIZZA PREFERENCES! This joint is modern, friendly and delicious. One of the best pizzas I have had outside of the NYC FIDI arena. These guys know what they are doing! The wait staff is attentive and friendly, the quality of the food is top and the atmosphere is great. I felt like having 5 people at a 4 top was slightly uncomfortable, but that was our fault. Get your pizza on at this place if you are anywhere close to Clayton, Ga. Keep up the good noms!"
"Pizza is our go to post hike food and this makes a great post hike stop. My husband and I shared: - The 3.14 (large) - The Newton (small) Between the two, I think I preferred the 3.14, but I enjoyed both of them. If you're in the area looking for pizza, this is a good stop."
"Nothing hits the spot after a day of hiking quite like pizza does. We ordered three pies: a Newton, White Italian, and a basic mushroom. The price was to be expected. Fortify Pi loses a star because the girl helping us, took our phone number down and said she would call when it was done. I believe she quoted the wait time for pickup to be around 20 to 30 minutes. So, we walked around downtown, waiting for the phone call that our pizza was good to go. Well that phone call never happened. And yeah you can ask why we didn’t go back in there but when someone says they’ll call you, you expect them to actually call when it is ready. So we waited over an hour until finally we decided to go in there and see what the hold up was to which the girl gave us our pizza: which was now cold. Don’t take phone numbers with the false promise of calling when it’s ready if you’re not going to actually do that. Give us a time frame and tell us to just come in. Don’t even bring phones into the equation."
