"We had Heritage remodel our kitchen. They installed the flooring incorrectly by not applying anything between the subfloor and the durock even though the durock installation instructions specifically point out this step. Our tile flooring keeps popping up and grout is cracking throughout the entire upstairs. When we told Heritage about the missed step, they replied, "we never do that and we've been doing it this way for 30 years." Oh, you mean you've been installing flooring incorrectly for 30 years? Good to know. I wanted to make sure to pass this information along so that nobody else makes the same mistake that we did in hiring Heritage. Hope this was helpful."
