"Transferred to Phelps OBGYN practice after having friends recommending their care. And I’m not sure why or how but my experience with their staff has been absolutely terrible. Appointments are only available 4-5+ months out, even for bigger issues like infertility. The nurses are incredibly rude, talk over you, and as a result don’t correctly understand what you’re telling them. After months of trying to be patient and see if care/service improves I’ve decided to find another practice. Just not worth the headache or the attitude."

"their ER staff was horrible. last August 2022 maybe short staffed, but noone came to help while patient experienced bad event family had to glove up and help the patient herself and demanded for help and answers..will never use them again!!"

"I found out I was pregnant July 2020 during the pandemic. While my husband wasn’t allowed to come to appointments, they did everything to put me at ease. Dr. Teixeira was my original OBGYN but once you get pregnant they encourage you to see everyone cause any of them may be there delivery day. I met 8/10 doctors during my prenatal appointments and they were all wonderful, informative. The office staff was friendly and helpful- and I just knew I would be taken care of. When I was at 41 weeks with no baby we scheduled for induction. I saw many of the friendly face at Phelps I’d met over the last 9 months and Dr Spriyda was there to help me give birth. My whole experience with the practice and giving birth I felt so taken care of, and with any questions or concerns the doctors were responsive. If you are pregnant and looking for a good team of doctors and place to give birth- this is it."

"I’ve been with this practice for over 20 yrs. Unfortunately, after Dr Castano and Dr Ankolakar left the whole place has gone downhill, they are rude, don’t listen to your concerns, assume you don’t know what you’re talking about or don’t know your own body. Denise, one of the nurses there has no empathy in how she talks to you or makes you feel. I’m in the process of leaving the practice."

"Use a third party to handle their paperwork and don’t take any responsibility for their actions. Doctors are never accessible. Find somewhere else to go if you want the staff to care. If you are having severe pain don’t waste your time."
