"I’ve always wanted a puppy, but I was not sure if I was up to the task as a first-time dog owner. After taking a leap of faith and adopting a two-month old German Shepherd mix, I found myself in over my head. In addition to the regular puppy problems like potty training and trying to avoid those needle teeth bites, after a visit to the vet we found out that our dog was infected not with just one, but four different types of parasites, as well as kennel cough. At this point we were questioning whether rescuing a puppy was the right decision. We decided to get a dog walker just to get some of that puppy energy out. However, we had no idea that in addition to the regular walks and optional hikes, we would also benefit from their expert medical and behavioral advice. They helped us navigate through our puppy’s health problems, survive the teething phase, as well as her neutering recovery time. When we panicked, they gave us healthy perspective on how our puppy was doing and kept us grounded when we were doubting our abilities. In addition to walks and hikes, Dave and Bhakti provided last-minute boarding for our dog when my husband and I needed to go away for a week on a short notice. Sometimes we joke that they are our puppy’s god parents. I would recommend Dave and Bhakti’s services to anyone who has a dog or a cat – from first-time owners, to seasoned pet parents."

They did a wonderful job caring for all of my cats, as well as administering much needed medication to my difficult and somewhat moody elderly kitty.
