"Diner menu, good selection for airport. Hot food needs to be hot, especially soup and if they asked for a preference of how you would like the burger. Service made up for it though."

"I chose to stop here because it was the best rated food in the terminal, and it was pretty decent, especially for being in an airport. TVs give you something to watch if you’re inclined, and the diner decor makes for a quiet and casual experience. The staff were friendly, and service was much faster than I had expected given they only had two servers for about 20 people; they have their efficiency down! The flying monkey milkshake was very good, and with an order of chicken and waffles the experience was complete. The waffle was interesting in a good way, and not quite what I expect from a Belgian waffle. Crispy in the edges and more like a pancake in the center. The chicken was moist and cooked well. It must have been sitting for a minute or two as it was very warm, but wasn’t as hot as one would expect coming from a fryer, coupled with the softer breading it was as nevertheless good. Some parts of the breading seemed to have caught, and a bit of burned oil flavor crept in. Not the cheapest spot to eat, but overall I’d come back and recommend this spot."

"Had a few mins before my LAX flight out so I took the advice of a local attendant and stepped into the Garden State Diner. Its in terminal C all the way at the end on the left. There was a line which told me that I may have made a good choice. Didn't take long to get seated at all. I ordered the veggie omelet with croissant and coffee. It was surprisingly good. Fresh veggies in the omelet and the croissant was light and fluffy. The coffee was good but I have had better in my travels. Nice and clean location the service was spot on and fast. No crowded but a good steady crowd."

"Those other 'guys' should learn from THIS crew! If you have time between flights, grab a seat... no time, no problem!! Besides taking your name for your order (even drink only orders), they (not just the cashier) smiled, greeted me, and demonstrated a genuinely appreciation for my business, even as they waited on other passengers. Their display helped ordering albeit no price included - it's an airport/highway type setting. Oddly I got a NY Style Reuben sandwich - sorry about not including the full sandwich but I was nearing hangry. The dinner style is typical but their chairs move; an odd feature in this terminal where chairs are rigidly fastened to the floor not to move less of a power tool. My coffee came as ordered, fresh and hot. I know it's not a Big-buck drink but it hit my mark! My sandwich came toasted with slightly melted cheese but not excessively hot to my fingers. The sauce is barely noticeable and I didn't ask for extra as I ate it at my gate instead. THIS crew definitely helped get my (long) day off to a much better start! I'm thrilled they worked today!"

"Cute little NJ Diner in the middle of the airport with perfect diner decor and atmosphere. Typical diner menu for decent prices and they offer dine in or take out. The take out window server was great and I was all excited to give 5 stars until I sat down at my terminal and opened my to go container. The sandwich was super whimpy with barely any turkey or cheese and it was missing the chipotle dressing completely. The sourdough bread was tasty but extremely hard to the point of breaking a tooth. The bacon was also tasty but there was barely any of it. I wouldn't mind paying $20 for this if it wasn't a $5 sandwich. My friend got a Greek salad and had no complaints."
