About the Business

Pier 63 at Hudson River Park

Pier 63 at Hudson River Park is a beautiful green space located on 12th Avenue in New York City. It is surrounded by Piers 62 and 64, creating the largest open green space in Hudson River Park. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, sunbathing, reading, playing Frisbee, and lounging around on the lawn. Children love running and rolling on the hill, as well as visiting the nearby carousel.

The park's sustainable design was tested during Hurricane Sandy in 2012, with the Lawn Bowl remaining virtually unscathed despite being inundated with saltwater. The park's sustainability efforts are a testament to its commitment to the environment.

With over a dozen public piers and miles of pathways and landscapes, Hudson River Park offers a variety of activities and attractions for visitors. The park spans four miles along Manhattan's west side and attracts over 17 million visits each year, providing an oasis for both New Yorkers and tourists with recreational and educational opportunities.

"Great place to lay out, or have a little picnic with some friends on the lawn. Gets a little crowded but not too terrible for the vibes and views"
