"Let me start off by saying the service sucks. The fries are sagy, not crispy at all, no taste, no salt just overall horrible. They gave large peaces of flat grilled chicken breaststroke calling it kebab. The rice with shawarma has no seasoning. The meat is bland with salt and no spices. This place is overated. Didn't enjoy it at all."

"I got Arayes and the Beef & Lamb Shawarma Bowl (side of rice and french fries). It's a bit pricier than other places, but the portions do match the price. I tried the Arayes a couple of years ago and I liked them, so I ordered them again, this time along with the shawarma bowl. The spice levels of both are very mild, which I prefer. The hot sauce, however, is incredibly spicy (at least, to me). This was my final meal of 2023 and I'm pretty content with that."

"Recently visited Duzan in Astoria and was disappointed by the dryness of the food. I specifically asked for extra sauce when ordering and was willing to pay, but only received a small amount for my $50 order. Places like this the food is not really enjoyable without sauce. Actually, it isn’t really edible at all without it. When I called to speak to the the manager, the management’s response was unsatisfactory. Just a heads-up for those who might expect more sauce with their food, they’re super cheap and most likely give you 2 tiny sauces per large platter."

"DELIVERY REVIEW - I've ordered from Duzan twice so far and Ive really liked it. Their chicken shawarma has been reliably delicious. For the pita, the one struggle had is that the veggies were not distributed evenly with the chicken so they were mostly at the bottom which some people may prefer, but for me like to have my veggies distributed with every bite of meat. There's one thing wanted to try from them which is their special item, the Arayes with cheese. I saw it on their Instagram and it just looked so good. This dish comes with pickles, radish, tahini, and their hot sauce. Best way can describe this dish is like eating a burger flatbread sandwich, except the ground meat and cheese is in a pita and grilled which made for a delicious meal. The other dish really wanted to try was their hummus. I personally found it delicious, especially with the olive oil on top. Their hummus is REALLY smooth so it might surprise those who are used to their hummus having more texture. My fiancé was personally not a fan but was. I'm definitely be ordering from here again but might opt for the chicken shawarma bowl instead so can have my veggies with each bite lol."

"Finally went to the famous 'Duzan' for its chicken Shawarma. Live in NJ, so its out of the way to come to Astoria, Queens. Cut to the chase - no its not the best chicken shawarma I ever had and its way over hyped. The food is fine and the chicken cutlet was actually very good but this is not a place to go to if you're not in the area. Price is high for what you get, its close to $20 per plate of food and in the case of the chicken shawarma its a-lot of sides (i.e. rice and fries) and not the chicken. You have to wait over 20 minutes for your food, this place does get very busy. The establishment is going thru a renovation and its a bit sketchy, even comical how they want you to basically order food during this renovation. There's picnic tables outside, which is ok if you don't mind not having any napkins or condiments besides what they give you to eat your food. It wasn't the most ideal eating atmosphere you can think of, eating your chicken shawarma on the busy Steinway street with Doordash delivery people coming in and out, and people double parking on a 1 lane street. Parking is hard to say the least."
