Maurice River Bluffs Preserve is a stunning park and tourist attraction located at 1311 Silver Run Road in Millville, New Jersey, United States. This 500-acre preserve is named for its majestic rounded cliffs that overlook the 35.4-mile “Wild and Scenic” Maurice River. It offers hilly terrain not commonly found in southern New Jersey and serves as crucial stopover habitat for migrating songbirds, osprey, and bald eagles.

Visitors to the preserve can enjoy six miles of hiking trails, a 35-foot long bridge, benches, picnic tables, an information kiosk, bird blind enclosure, and a floating dock. The preserve also features a thrilling six-mile mountain biking trail designed to International Mountain Biking Association standards. This trail offers exciting obstacles such as berms and small jumps for riders of all experience levels.

The Maurice River Bluffs Preserve is owned by The Nature Conservancy, which acquired the land in 1992. The preserve provides habitat for endangered species and hosts unique plant communities, including some of the largest wild rice marshes in New Jersey. The site has a rich history, once being a hub for sand mining and farming before becoming a conservation area.

"Mountain biking in South Jersey and a great place to walk the dog. Maurice river views and well taken care of walking trails year round. The bike trails could use a little bit of regular maintenance through the Winter, but this is such a treat to have good mountain biking trails with fun elevation gain in a relatively flat area. Awesome spot!"

"Total trail hike is 5.2 miles but you have the option to pick your trail and do smaller hikes. Terrain is a bit hilly in some areas. They also have mountain biking trails. It offers a hilly terrain which is nice because I have yet to find that elsewhere in South Jersey. There are bridges, steps & rails, a bird blind enclosure, and a floating dock."

"This whole trail is over 4 miles. There are different trail you can take which are less then 4 miles. Really like the views and the extra things on the trail. Won’t say what the extras are, nice to find them for yourself."
