Belmar's Natural Beach Area

"Best beach ever. Bring a picnic, umbrella and plenty of sunscreen. Wander down to Mama Luke's for a cheese steak and Italian sandwich if you don't pack lunch. Have a cocktail at D'jais to close out the day."

"Beautiful and thoughtful area sectioned off on the sand near the 1st Ave boardwalk. It protects migrating birds and gives them room and a private area to care for their families. People are not allowed to enter, it is roped off. This keeps the birds safe. If you walk along the outer edge, you are able to see the birds."
