"Good variety of wildlife to observe and nice walking paths about 2 miles round trip to parking lot at Hylan Blvd. Small play area for kids, a marina and beach area. The only drawback is the park was devastated by superstorm Sandy 11 years ago and the federal park system totally abandoned any reconstruction of the shore erosion that took about 100 yards of the bluff at the parking lot and the bulkhead near the marina."

"Great walk on the peninsula of the park. Too much garbage strewn around although it is mid-winter. Other reviewers mentioned radioactive finds at the site of park that is cordoned away. That said, it is certainly very picturesque shore walk."
