And every is very nice and ask me how was my day and my family doing. And I refuse going to another tax office and only because they know what there doing here and this place is clean and it’s not A long wait time and for me I like to wait my turn, and usually when I go here there’s only 1 person ahead of me. And I rate this tax office 100% perfect as always."

I made an appointment online for 7pm but when I arrived the staff said they were closed, despite the fact that the sign literally on the door in front of our faces said they were open until 9pm. I'm guessing the staff just wanted to skip out of work early. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this place."

"Please read! Stay away from this Jackson Hewitt. They take your money and have no regard for what happen next. I’m being audit! I filed my taxes in the office at 613 West 207 St. Inwood NY for the 2017 year on February 1, 2018. I should have listen to my instincts and walk away as soon as the lady filling my taxes started asking questions to the gentleman next to her and he said “follow the previous year” She couldn’t even do that. I work in NY and live in NJ. Sensing that she was not qualify for this task I reminded her that I needed to file in both states. She gave a confused look but assured me that she knew that. Well, 4 months later IM BEING AUDIT. Both NY and NJ taxes were completely wrong. Her numbers were so far off that it looks like fraud. As per my attorney, because yes, I had to acquire the services of an attorney to help me navigate this complex issue. The Treasure department, division of taxation is scary. The franchise owner or manager is Zurinda Kimura. I called the office multiple times. Explained the issue and was told that I had to go Weschester and “they were not going to charge me” For the big error they made? It took a week for them to get back to me, and this happened only after I called the corporate office. Every step to fix this error has been a nightmare. No calls back, no follow up, when you call conveniently they are not there that day. It has been an uphill battle. Corporate is not better, they said they will call back, they never did, never. Not once. Neither did Zurinda Kiur. She actually got very sassy! After all this aggravation and the financial burden I requested a refund, they denied it. The corporate people said that they are not responsible for the franchises, they are individually own. So it is all a mirage, a fallacy. There is not a corporate force behind this monster. Obviously the people filling your taxes could be a temporary worker with no clue or proper training. This is too serious to handle it so lightly. My next stop will the NY and NJ District Attorney’s office, Consumers affairs and I’m spreading the message in every social media outlet available. If something good is going to come out of this horrible experience is that people are going to take responsibility. This is a serious matter. Thank you, Carmen E. Velez"
