"Coach Jeff is an amazing coach who works great with kids of all ages. My 4 year old loves wrestling and it’s all because of the staff and their support. I can’t recommend this place enough."

"More than a wrestling Coach. Coach Jeff is a mentor, a role model, and a person you can count on. I’m grateful to have met him and my life wouldn’t be where it is today if it weren’t for him. Jeff is one of the only coaches I’ve ever seen who doesn’t turn away athletes with minimal experience. There are many coaches that will turn away the first day beginner or the little kid who hasn’t quite learned how to focus but Jeff isn’t one of those coaches. He uses a systematic approach for athletes of all levels and ages. He’s coached world-class athletes, beginners, and athletes in between. He’s a bookworm with wrestling secrets from around the world. Jeff cares more about character development and growth than he does winning. Winning is nice but he’ll teach you life lessons that’ll carry on to your professional career and will challenge you to become a better person. Whether you want to improve your wrestling or improve at life, The Wrestling Coach is your guy."

"I stumbled across the Mat club a little over 5 months ago after struggling in my MMA career. Jeff Marsh aka the wrestling coach was just what I needed to ground me. The wrestling coach developed a plan just based around my own needs and we started to develop my MMA wrestling, but more then that my confidence in who I was as a fighter and who i planned to become. I would highly recommend the Mat club to anyone looking to develop their skill set, as an MMA fighter and someone who was never really an athlete growing up Jeff really takes the time to develop his athletes and help them reach their full potential."

"Coach Marsh was my son's first wrestling coach years ago and he laid the foundation for a young wrestler who has never had a losing season in 8 years. There were ups and downs, of course, but from a fundamental standpoint I see the edge my son has over many of his opponents. Although we moved to central jersey and my son is now in high-school and trains regularly at a local club, I still drive him an hour to the Mat Club whenever we have the time. Coach Marsh's approach is not only physical but mental, he explains the intangibles of wrestling to his students. How to conduct yourself on the mat, as well as in preparation for the match and in life as well. Yelling and nonstop reps will only take an athlete so far, and that's what many coaches do. Understanding the mental aspect of wrestling and how to self reflect and make improvements is what allows a good athlete to reach his/her true potential. And that's exactly what you get at the Mat Club."

"Where do I even begin with this?! Jeff Marsh epitomizes what it means to be a (The) Wrestling Coach. He’s not just a top-tier technician and wrestling instructor, but a mentor and student of life who learns and grows alongside his students. I started wrestling with him my sophomore year and saw huge development in myself as a wrestler and person. Coach Marsh introduced me to an incredible community of committed and passionate grapplers who expanded my horizons and fed my love for the sport. That love for the sport quickly made it obvious to me that I wanted to wrestle in college, and Coach Marsh helped me in each step of that process. I wouldn’t have the accolades or achievements that I have today without the Wrestling Coach, but far far more importantly, I wouldn’t be the person I am today without his guidance, mentorship, and friendship. We all get to make decisions that will impact us forever. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was training with Jeff."
