"Do not take your pets here. I’ve been meaning to write a review on this place and just want everyone to know the Vet did not know what was wrong with my dog because my dogs fur was falling out and he was scratching like crazy. He gave me steroids to do I don’t know what for him. Obviously did not work. Than he prescribed. Medicine my dog could not have because he was only 5 months. That medication strictly states not to give dogs under 1 year old. The doctor also wanted to sedate my dog for a scabies test which he did not need to do but I didn’t know at the time. He was scared of my 5 month old puppy and jabbed him with the needle which made my dog yap really loud. This wasn’t the first time my pup had a shot so that pissed me off. Also they are running some weird business with sedation. I can not tell you how many times I heard them tell a client their dogs need to be sedated or people picking up their dogs from being sedated. I’ll never go back here and yes the staff and vet is friendly but not worth my dog’s well being. If you feel weird about anything they tell you regarding your pet go somewhere else for a second opinion. One last thing my dog was allergic to the food I was giving him which the vet said changing his food won’t matter. Completely false, I got a grain free food and my dog immediately started to get better within a week."

"Best place to take your pet! They are so caring and vet really knows what hes doing. Been going here since around 2010 and so glad they reopened! Went back as soon as they did with my dog."

"I brought my cat, Bobo, in to have a bladder infection treated. The Dr is amazing and the infection is now gone. But, when I picked my cat up and brought him home he had an awful limp ... his left back leg. He still has it. I'm sure it wasn't the Dr's fault because he's so gentle and kind. It was someone else there. I dont know what happened but my cat didn't deserve that and I'm now afraid to bring him back there. I'm sure my cat won't want to go there either."

"My cat was hit by a car and had her leg broken. I took her to an emergency hospital. They gave me two options: amputation or surgery that would cost me 5000. I brought her to Rahway Veterinarian for a second opinion. They gave her a different treatment not expensiveat all. Today, she's completely healed walking on her four legs. They were so patient with us. We appreciate the doctor and his stuff."
