"We ordered an in ground pool from Del Val last summer for 2021. We had nothing but a great experience. We were pleased with the whole process which took about 3 weeks from start of construction to finish. Not once did I have to call or follow up because the team at Del Val is very organized and kept the project moving. We are so impressed with the pool and the workmanship. We got exactly what we wanted. I would recommend Del Val to anyone."

"I hired them to open my pool, and overall, they did a terrible job. But this is not why I am taking my time to write this. After their sloppy job, we discovered that they had broken our backwash pipe. I immediately called the office and sent pictures via email. Renee called and left a voicemail acknowledging that yes they broke the pipe with an apology however blamed my system for being “So old and brittle” and advised that to schedule the fix I would need to split the cost and pay $150.00 up front. Obviously, that was not going to happen. After trying to get a hold of Renee the next day I spoke with Bryan, the owner, and her husband. He started with “oh your system is old and brittle” then jumped to “it is an obstruction.” I asked him is my system the only old system you deal with. Do you send inexperienced crew members out on jobs regularly? Do you not leave your job sites as they were found? As someone who works and lives within the construction industry, I can assure you we know what is brittle and how to leave a job site. Yes our system is on the older side and has piping, but when I hire a pool professional I expect them to be able to navigate any kind of system. I later learn that it was his son on the job site. So daddy is now teaching him that you can bully a customer instead of taking accountability. This post is to warn anyone doing business with Del Val Pools and Spas. Take pictures before they come and if possible, inspect every piece of equipment before they leave. And good luck if their son is on site, he is a sloppy and careless worker with Mommy and Daddy back at the office to protect him. To their recent response: When were you going to discuss the pipe that your crew broke when on site?? When I called you out on it? Yes upgrades were discussed but never did they mentioned "We broke your pipe." Your crew was dishonest and I am exposing them. Also, my husband already connected the backwash hose. He had that all prepared, so sounds like your crew is also lying to you. The pipe BROKE OFF, it was not pulled off. If you are a professional pool company, you should be able to navigate any and all pipes. I am moving forward, this review is to warn all future consumers of how you conduct business. Del Val's policy is if their crew (especially if daddy's boy is on site) breaks something, its not their fault its the consumers fault. People please, if you work with them, keep an eye on them, do your do diligence. They are very unfair and lie to each other internally. There is no ethic within this company."

"I will not use Del Vale Pools again! On 5/21 they installed a liner and when replacing the liner the pool light cover broke, instead of the service team telling what happen, they install the pool light with jagged edges and not flush to the pool wall and left without letting me know the condition... "look at pics" this is how they left my light! After I discover the condition of the light I called them and told them the pool light was broke, the service team came out and look at the light and said the light works it is just not flush to he wall. Looking at the light, even though it works, I do not feel safe to have my son (12 years old), his friends or family members swimming without me turning the circuit breaker off. Even though they say it is safe!!! "DO THEY WANT TO PUT THAT IN WRITING!!! Looking at this I do not even think it would pass code and the team that put the liner in left it like this without even telling me or giving me options. I called serval times for serval weeks about this matter, after going back and forth with customer service, getting the run around, not calling me back, never able to tell me what they are going to do about the light and how they could fix this matter??? every-time I called it was like they had not idea what the problem was!! it was annoying!!! SO, of course getting nowhere, today 6/9/ I spoke to Renee the customer service manager, she was unprofessional and fighting with me that the first service team told me about the light!! but like I said they never told me and they just left the light with jagged edges and not flush to the wall!!! She put me on a three was to talk to the guys, but of course it was not the guys who put in the liner!!! I told her that she has some bad reviews she said I have hundreds of customers I cannot worry about them!! Who does these things??? To me they just do not care about their customers!!!"

"Deceiving sales department and rude manager. Nothing but disappointment since our install when they left our backyard a mess but digging out 2 ½ feet around our pool and leaving mounds and mounds of dirt all over our yard that cost over $1000 to remove. If our salesman was the pool expert he claimed to be, we should have been advised to get a semi-inground pool, but all they care about at Del Val is the sale, not the customer. Even the electrician they recommended to us would not do the work we needed due to how big of a mess our backyard was from the install. We used them to close our pool and they did not put on our winter cover tight enough, causing it to tear and sink to the bottom of the pool. Since we bought the pool from them, we decided to give them one last try and have them open our pool this year. They did not hook up our oxygen system "forgetting" to plug it in. They also did not tell us to set up our timer so our pump was running for 3 weeks straight and blew a fuse. When I spoke to the manager about this, he belittled me on the phone, blaming me for not maintaining our pool correctly, leaving me in tears. Being a 1st time pool owner, I was hoping for some guidance and support with our purchase, and all I have been left with is disappointment, extra bills, and feeling like I have been taken advantage of. My husband had to replace our pump, not even a year old. Oh and don't forget how our vacuum that we purchased from them is also broken after only being used once last year. Bottom line, Del Val is deceptive, inconsiderate, has a poor quality service team, and seems to take pride in bullying their customers around. Stay away and shop elsewhere!"
