"Crooks! Do Not call them. Last Dec 2021 I had a major flood at my home and I bought dehumidifiers/driers and cleaned up (a week of work), it took my insurance 2 months to send help because of the holidays. By then we had mold growing behind the walls, I know this because I had the house environmentally tested for mold/bacteria. My insurance company was supposed to start demo because mold was growing and we had a new baby so the mold was a major problem. Service Master Metropolitan was aware of the situation but insisted on dehumidifying an already dehumidified house, I was at work so by the time I was aware I told them to stop. I asked why aren’t you doing demo and they had no answer for me, their supervisor didn’t even want to talk to me and was very disrespectful. After going through a devastating flood that did alot of damage which restoration isn’t even finished yet a year later the last thing I needed was crooks coming in and taking advantage of a very bad situation. I refused to pay and they threaten collection/lien, after speaking with my insurance they said to just pay it so I did. Laws do not protect private people just companies so my hands were tied. Go to Serve Pros, they were honest not like these crooks Service Master Metropolitan in Jersey."
