"Alex was with us from conception through execution, and is now helping us learn how to maintain this gem of a plunge pool. We opted for a partial above-ground heated, salt-water pool in our tiny 25x25 backyard in the Village of Nyack. The partial above ground is a great solution because the lovely bluestone coping doubles as as seating. I love the stone surround as well. During the pandemic, I was inspired by the small courtyard pools in the villages of the South of France and I think we got darn close to that vision! The logistics of digging out the pool in such a tight space were a challenge but Alex was super creative and his team was always very professional and courteous always left the construction site orderly. The whole process took about 12 months - from design, approvals and construction - and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. When the pea gravel we wanted wasn't easily available, he sourced the one we wanted and helped us turn our backyard into a tiny Mediterranean-inspired paradise we had originally envisioned! One thing that we wish we had thought about in advance was the pool cover. We had one custom made by another vendor but it's not a permanent solution and we are still trying to figure this out. We considered a roll-up teak spa pool covers, but determined that they were too bulky and would not look good always visible on the edge of the pool. I don't know that the industry has a great solution for this yet but I wish someone would invent it!"

"What can we say that can do proper justice to the job Alex did for us? Never owned a pool before and didn't know even if our little backyard could accommodate one. We created a simple concept and yard layout and Alex sprang into action, sharing designs, choices for materials, and filtration systems. He pulled the permits, navigated the building dept, and got the job started on time. Working in a tight space with a two month window, he and his crew delivered a beautiful 7 x 13 semi-inground saltwater pool, re-landscaped our backyard, removed and transplanted magnolia trees, and installed a filtration system and pool heater fully operable by iphone app. When there were inevitable delays and supply chain challenges, Alex leveled with us and developed work-arounds. He was straight-forward, on-it, and on-time. He is still looking after his creation, dropping by to check salt levels and chemistry. We were and are grateful."

"We hired Alex to do some renovation work on our gunite pool. He replaced our existing control system with a new wifi controlled smart system that makes using our pool/spa much easier. He also converted the pool to salt water and replaced all the lights. Alex is a very personable guy and a true professional when it comes to his work.
